Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She is most famous for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). Also, she played the lead part of Jerrica Jem Benton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey has been a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years in her youth. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was a valedictory address for the class in 2012. Harvard University accepted her but admitted her twice, the second time to accept her part in Nashville. Peeples has guest-starred on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin and Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), and was a regular character on Necessary roughness (1991). She was in the filmed TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was Layla Grant, a major character in The Good Mother, a Nashville second season drama. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder when she spoke in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the top actors of the year under 20 in September of 2014.
