Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Anything But A Numer. The album, launched when she was only fifteen years old it went Gold. This collaboration was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and helped put her in the spotlight. In 1996, she released her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album contained the hit number one single If Your girl only had known. After the release of this work Aaliyah received international recognition as an R&B singer. In 2000, she was on the screen in Romeo Must Die, a action/romance film starring Jet-Li. Joel Silver spotted her in an awards show. Queen of the Damned was her first film role in 2002. The story is based on The Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She had also appeared in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). She was nominated four times for the Grammy Awards, including 1999, 2001 and 2002. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. The actress is the first Indian American to be from Connecticut. The stage name Mann is derived from her marriage name Mankad. She utilizes Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar as her professional name. Though she started her career in film and TV with a few minor performances, her acting career picked up speed in the late 2000s. In addition, she has appeared on Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy and Grey's Anatomy. She's appeared in many commercials for Volvo's international automobile manufacturer. The actress currently resides with her family in Los Angeles along with her wife, son and daughter. She also pursues her acting career.
